When William Nycum Architects was looking for a cost effective yet tough, attractive and easy to maintain flooring for this major project, they once again turned to Marley and Altro.

These three have a long history of demanding projects – Neil's Harbor Health Care, Cheticamp, The Sydney Cancer Center and the New Yarmouth Hospital phase I & II.

The expansive color range and three chip non-directional design of Marley Eclipse in conjunction with the endless options of Marley Floor Craft allowed the Design Team at William Nycum to bring the corridors and waiting areas of the hospital alive with a WAVE of colour.

Areas of Usage

Corridors: The non directional design, no wax required and homogeneous composition of Marley Eclipse makes it the perfect choice for busy corridors.

Labs: Due to the high vinyl content in Eclipse, it is a perfect floor for the abusive nature of labs.

Patient Rooms: The soothing colours of Marleyflor Plus help with quick recovery while the flexibility and monolithic design insure a hygienic floor covering.

Kitchen: Balanceing non-slip with ease of maintenance is always difficult in this area. Once again the consultant relied on Altro Safety Flooring. The composition of Altro products mean a lifetime of safety while the built in bacteriostat and heat welded seams product a hygienic floor covering. Industry leading EASY CLEAN Technology means the easiest to maintain safety flooring available.
